Leena Bakshi McLean is the founder of STEM For Real, an organization dedicated to providing comprehensive teacher and administrator training, as well as professional learning for schools and districts with a focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). Recognizing the importance of integrating equity and social justice into STEM education, Leena merged her experiences from equity and social justice training with her insights from the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) training. She envisioned a more inclusive approach, leading to the creation of STEM For Real, where these critical areas are addressed collectively to empower educators and administrators in fostering an equitable and socially just STEM learning environment.
