About Evelyn Johnson, Ph.D.
Dr. Evelyn Johnson is a Professor of Early and Special Education at Boise State University and the Scientific Director of Lee Pesky Learning Center. Evelyn is also the Principal Investigator for Project RESET, funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Project RESET focuses on creating special education teacher observation instruments that are aligned with evidence-based practices for students with high-incidence learning disabilities. In addition to working to build special education teachers’ capacity to deliver effective instruction, Evelyn’s research focuses on early detection of learning disabilities, and on self-regulated learning strategies to improve outcomes for students with learning and attention challenges.
