About Mara Aruguete, Ph.D.
Dr. Mara Aruguete got her Ph.D. at the University of California and has been a Professor of Psychology at Lincoln University since 1995. In addition to teaching, she has authored two books (one is a textbook) and over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals (including Sex Roles, Journal of Adolescent Health, Journal of Educational Research, and Social Science and Medicine). Many of her articles include student coauthors. She is a successful grant writer with 23 funded grants. Finally, she serves as a Division Chair of the Missouri Academy of Science.
